Morwen Claddan was born in 400 A.D. on a small island North-West of Wales called Ynys Llanddwyn. She spent a normal childhood there with her family and her younger sister till she was around the age of 20.

One day she was helping the owner of the local inn serving tables when she overheard a conversation between two men; one of them was arguing about Life and Death. He said that both were mere ideas and that someone could choose to live forever by simply not wanting to die. Upon hearing this, Morwen started to silently mock this man for what he was saying, but he turned towards her and with a sort of innocent smile simply told Morwen that in a century they would have met again in the same inn.

Morwen just laughed and went away, but in time to her surprise and dismay she discovered that, as if that man cursed her, she had stopped ageing. After the death of her mother and sister she lived alone in her home for a long time, until exactly 100 years after that encounter the same man knocked at her door. He gave her a hug, than vanished like mist. Morwen spent another couple of days thinking about what do to and finally she gathered her belongings and left her island in search of answer to her life.

Her quest brought her all around the world, as she met many odd and strange people and learned all she could about every subject; and even if she had to move quite often her life was quite happy even if lonely. Problems rose during medieval age with the witch hunts, because an always-young girl was a perfect target for an accusation of witchcraft. Morwen was arrested, imprisoned and tortured for long time before being burnt onto a pyre and left as dead for the crows.

She managed to survive this ordeal as her body slowly healed, almost magically leaving only a big scar crossing her back. Even all this didn't stopped her from going around the world again in search of answers. Her everlasting travels led her to some unknown regions of Asia where she found other persons blessed or cursed by immortality. One of them bestowed onto her the task to find a safe place for an odd magical artifact, a strange wooden cube sealed into a glass case known by sages as "Lament Configuration". She went around the world again with this object carefully concealed, til one day she ended up in France. There she asked for hospitality from a local Baron; she remained in that castle only for a couple of days but still long enough to fall madly in love with his daughter Beatrice. Sadly because of her everlasting quest searching for answers to her past, she had to leave Beatrice after only such a short number of days, her heart full of sorrow for the leaving. Her travels finally brought her to Yuriba and for some strange reason she felt that her wanderings had come to an end. She built her home into the heart of the mountain itself and finally started to take care of her own life until one wonderful day the same girl she had met centuries ago appeared as if brought by magic or by love itself near her home to spend the rest of eternity with her.

Now Morwen's life has slightly changed again, as her love Beatrice has disappeared for a long time. Morwen mourned her loss, locking up herself in her cave like an hermit for several months, the only girl visiting her being her friend Nagisa Vendaris. Slowly she started to go out more often and at last met some very special girls that managed after a long time to make her smile and live again. Tess one of those girls was able with her kindness and sweetness to ease Morwen's heart to the point that the two of them decided to live together and finally married each other in a very private ceremony.

In the last few weeks Morwen wandered the mountains restlessy as if called by an unknown force. This force guided her to a spring where she was softly pushed inside by a gust of wind; thus allowing her to become the embodyment of air element as a Sylph. While she was still adapting to her new form she met a girl named Hokuto that seems to look toward her as a sort of mother and guide; a task that Morwen, having no child of her own yet, is more than willing to take.
