J. Altice Summers is a girl from Maryland, formerly Maonyanniichuan-blessed, who lived in Yuriba between 2004 and 2007. A fairly reclusive person, she values time alone but is unafraid of social interaction and can occasionally be spotted taking walks through the village to see what sort of people she can encounter. Though her first name is Jennifer she prefers to go by Altice, finding it to be a much prettier name.

Psychological Profile
General Personality
During her stay in Yuriba Altice's personality was dissimilar to most catgirls' in that she was reserved, level-headed, and prone more towards quiet rumination than towards playful or outgoing moods. She was very concerned with decorum and was sometimes referred to as hyper-polite. Altice had difficulty saying a bad word about just about anyone and took great care not to offend those around her, choosing her words carefully and often speaking of herself depreciatingly to help dissuade people from deeming her arrogant. Her attitude was gentle and quiet but not shy in that she was not afraid to approach people or be approached but spoke softly and in few words anyway. She was given to frequent moments of lethargy and enjoyed simply lounging and reading, disliking such things as athletics or parties.
At the present time she's retained most of her personality traits but has shed much of her naivete and become somewhat more outgoing. She has also parted with her blessing, having left it behind to return to the "real" world.

Altice is an avid lover of the classics and history. She owns a large library of classical texts in translation and can often be found curled up with a good book. Despite her dislike of athletics she enjoys swimming and is skilled at it, though she prefers simply bathing or floating to actual aquatic sports. A skilled writer, she has authored several short stories and plans to write a novel at some point, though she has experienced difficulty deciding on a theme.
