Hunyanniichuan

One of the island's Jusenkyou Springs, Hunyanniichuan grants those that are doused in its waters the form of a female with some fox-like attributes. These most commonly seem to include a single fox tail, vulpine ears, and occasionally other minor physical modifications. However, some take a more blended form, growing a full coat of fur, and developing a muzzle and paws. As with other Jusenkyou Springs, Hunyannichuan grants no powers or magic. However, many confuse this, and treat it inaccurately as the kitsune spring. Although those who bathe in the spring do sometimes gain a physical appearance close to a kitsune, this is a physical change only.

Folklore

Hunyanniichuan is widely considered to be one of the hardest Jusenkyou Spring to locate. It is under the protection and care of the druidess breisleach, hinting that it might have a possible tie to her religion or The Lady. Whether this is true or not, she seems to take great care to protect its location, and she only rarely will drop hints or clues to allow others to try and locate it.

What is well known is that the spring apparently 'moves', and that one purportedly must be able to think like its protector to be able to find it.
