Wading pools

Located on the far eastern shore of Maboroshi, the wading pools consist of a small area of rocky coast where the incoming sea forms a variety of small tide pools. Commonly about knee deep, the pools are popular both for their somewhat romantic appearance and for the opportunity to view local marine life. The area is considered mildly dangerous, as the occasional injury results from someone slipping on the wet stones, but more often, it is known for the fact that it remains the most common place for shipwrecked immigrants to arrive, after Phantasm Harbor and the Southern Shore. The pools are one of the oldest Yuriban establishments, having existed in connection the main island prior to the quake that split off and formed Maboroshi in 2007.
