I don't know if you intended to use them for articles or not, but the wiki is not the place to upload to digital manipulations of over 18 artwork. We're iffy enough on whether we should be allowing recolors as it is, but I think recolored porn is a little far over the line. ^^; --breisleach 11:45, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

I had intended to use them on my own user page, actually, NOT here. When they were uploaded to the yuriba site, and not my user pages as I intended them to be, I spent an hour trying to find a way to delete all of the edits. All of them. They were NEVER intended for the yuriba wiki page. Personal image edits for my own page seemed fair enough, but I knew it would cause issues with the community group here. Wikia sucks when it comes to finding out anything, I will add...
...Oh, and just so you know, not a damned thing I have editted is copyright material. It's little pictures I've found on personal web pages and galleries, not even of artists, and far from pornography sites, though thanks for the acusation of how low of a maggot I am...I really appreciate it... >.> /sarcasm - hisenshi
Something you might not be aware of, and hence I will point out. ANY work of art, be it a picture, photograph, text string, what have you, is considered the copyright of the original creator. Even if you got the pictures from "personal web pages and galleries", the pictures are still copyrighted to their creator. NagisaVendaris 17:59, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
In addition, "Hi", your tone isn't very nice. breisleach is doing her job and fixing a problem. She didn't insult you or insinuate anything; she told you the rule, flat out. Your sarcasm and snide tone are really unwarranted. Try being less nasty and more friendly, you might get better results. -- Lumi 18:27, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

In so far as is applicable in this situation, there is no such thing as a 'personal page' on a wiki; while you have your own user page the material uploaded through this interface is accessible to anyone reading this wiki and the administrators of the wiki are considered responsible for it. Wiki pages aren't really intended to store material that isn't going to be used for public articles or public display on user pages as it's not a file storage service.
Nagisa's commentary is correct as well. Unless the pictures were specifically marked as being free use or under an open license, they are considered copyrighted by default. I'm a little unclear if you're upset by the use of the word 'porn', however, the content was fairly clearly of the sort that would qualify as pornography by a standard definition.
I'm sorry if you're upset by what happened, I tried to convey my concerns in terms that would be both clear and non-condemning. My intent wasn't to upset you, insult you, or insinuate anything, it was merely to clarify the situation. --breisleach 19:21, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Final word on this: No pornographic content. This is an encyclopedia, mind. It will not even be acceptable on your user page. Also, if the image is not yours, as in: you yourself did not draw it, it needs to be credited to someone, at the very *least*! I have been rather lax in enforcing this department. I'll be editting the Copyrights page to define what can, and what cannot be used here.--Ruriko

Post-comment by user, I hope to dissolve this issue personally, and hopefully clear up this mis-understanding, as that's what this seems to be. I will admit this and finish this...I only learned after uploading certain images that the user pages don't appear to be a separate part of any wikia, and afterwards, attempted, but failed, at finding a way to delete images or files I had previously uploaded. I will also admit to getting defensive at the comment, as it is my nature. Plain and simple. I also have been under the influence that there were issues between Breisleach and myself. Hopefully, this is only a part of my defensive paranoia, as well. Now, I'd like to find a way to end this fire in my gut, before I weind up doing somethingrash I am surely to regret later. - Aino HiSenshi
