Madoka is a kitsune woman of an unknown age and number of tails, though in her human form she generally appears with just a single tail. Her location of birth and native land are primarily unknown but she is believed to be of Japanese origin. Her ability to nigh effortlessly travel astral planes makes it difficult to really determine where she might be from.

Personality

General

Zenya Madoka is, like many Kitsunes, prone to trickery, and her ability to conjure up illusions, seamlessly transition into astral realms, and her wanton kleptomania make her quite the interesting person to be around for those who are able to put up with her.

Madoka is known to literally pilfer anything not bolted down, glued down, or tagged with obvious ownership, not excluding her own possessions, all of which she will dump into her own pocket universe, secreted somewhere deep in some astral realm somewhere off in the unknown reaches of wherever she is actually from. When confronted about the acquisition of such objects, even if she blatantly does so in front of someone else, she seems to be completely oblivious of such, and will often identify the object she has recently relieved someone else of as her own, or will act as if she has no idea what is going on. Whether feigned ignorance or a true inability to recognize ownership, Madoka's kleptomania knows no bounds.

If her random stealing is not bad enough, Madoka's general personality can be extremely energetic, bubbly, and erratic. To many with little patience, her ridiculous antics, nonsensical babbling and exclamations, and general twitchy nature can be very bothersome and may grate on them. However, for those able to put up with her antics, she can become a very fun person to be around, especially for those who enjoy having someone to laugh with and at. While not necessarily known for her jokes she tells, her life occasionally resembles a slap-stick comedy routine.

In comparison to others, Madoka's desire to be friends with everyone goes above and beyond, and very few will ever be able to legitimately claim that the wild Kitsune is rude, cruel, or insensitive towards others. In fact, her general mien is polite, albeit in a very different manner than many would imagine, kind and giving, often returning objects she has stolen to their rightful owners as gifts, not realizing that she has actually lifted it from them in the first place, in order to increase her relationship with them.

Another striking aspect of Madoka is that she is undeniably an Otaku, loving everything to do with anime, manga, and video games, particularly things coming out of Japan, and as such, she will frequently make references, drool over idols, and show off her enormous collection of goodies that she has stashed away. At the same time, Madoka is a NEET, refusing to do anything constructive, preferring her free-willed nature to that of someone bound by social constraints, jobs, or other obligations. In fact, her desire to not do anything of use is so strong that she would willingly suffer through undue hardships like starvation and poverty to avoid holding down even a part-time job.

In Relationships

Friendships

Madoka is unbelievably and fiercely loyal to her friends, going above and beyond to increase her relationship with them at each and every step. Known to bribe (in a playful sense) with items of interest, entice with rewards and gifts, and do endless favors for her friends in an attempt to strengthen their bond, she has been known to be a bit overwhelming and overbearing. However, despite her fervor in preserving and deepening relationships with people, her long life has given her an incredible perception, and she is often able to determine when she might be overstepping herself in her methods, and tends to straddle the line of too-much and ideal with the skill of an expert, death-defying tight-rope walker's skill.

Love/Sexual

Madoka has not had a lot of experience with love. She has spent the greater portion of her life completely alone, meaning that she has no idea how to really engage in a love-based relationship with someone, and often approaches such scenarios in the only way she knows how: like a dating sim! She will frequently refer to flags, get frustrated when things do not work out as she anticipates, and will often go to great lengths to put her people of interest into situations she is familiar with. Some would consider Madoka's dating sim recreations as rather interesting and unique dating, if not rather likable to a degree.

Physical Description

Physique and Static Features

Humanoid

Zenya Madoka is a strikingly noticeable Kitsune in her humanoid form, a complete jumble of bright colors ranging from greens to reds, able to compete with even the most impressive plumage a bird may manage to display. Her hair, a rich, vibrant green the color of new leaves in the spring is tipped along the ends of her locks and the peaks of her ears with more fall-like greens-turned-yellow. These green trusses, which fall easily to her waist, come in a variety of lengths, often styled in sloppy twin-tails, with much left scattered around her head, framing her face with varied length bangs which could hide her ruby-colored eyes. Her eyes, much like a fox, have a vulpine-style pupil, that dilates in a horizontal plane, narrowing to a vertical slit and opening to a widened circle as opposed to uniform constriction.

Like most Kitsune, Madoka boasts a tail, which is marginally larger than most fox-tails that other kitsunes might sport. It is generally tipped in excessively longer hair of a reddish-and-orange coloration, contrasting nicely with the tannish fur of the rest of her tail. This tan fur however, is not the only tan on her body, as the interiors of her ears happen to have a similar color, contrasting nicely with the green that covers the exteriors. Madoka's fur is generally very soft, silky, and has a nice sheen to it; very pleasant to the touch.

She is tall; taller than average, and slender with a dancer's physique: well-toned, lightly muscled, graceful and supple. Her skin is clear, unmarred by damage or blemishes, albeit her upper back sports a rather profound number of 'moles', and her upper arms and thighs bear red tattoos in wavy lines circling her limbs. While very slim-by-comparison with many other girls her size, she has a nice 'hourglass figure', with a narrow waist, slightly wider hips, and modestly-sized, well-rounded breasts, as well as a small, firm heart-shaped rear to top off her physique.

Madoka's face is relatively heart shaped with wider, prominent cheek-bones and a narrow, somewhat pointed chin. Thin, pink lips give her the ability to grin and smile cutely, and frown or pout to melt hearts. Her eyes, set uniformly in a very symmetrical fashion are large and fox-like, sporting long, curled lashes and framed along the top with thin eyebrows, appearing plucked or at least maintained, regardless if they are or not. Madoka's nose is small, thin in the bridge, and slightly upturned, giving a rather cute center-piece for her face.

True Kitsune

Madoka's fox-form is one of impressive size, easily larger than the vast majority of beings she comes across, the massive Kitsune stands are an impressive seventeen feet tall, not including extra height added by her ears. This size is her natural size, and with some focus, she is able to compress herself down in the same manner that she is able to assume a human form. This, however, tends to be far-less comfortable than maintaining her true size or her humanoid state. One could assume that this great size is able to give her incredible speed, strength, and the ability to effortlessly chomp down on a standard humanoid-frame within her powerful maw. On the other hand, several standard human-sized beings could likely ride upon her back.

Madoka's fur, up until she achieved a rather impressive age, was a tannish color often seen in her humanoid form, but now she sports a lovely coat of snowy-white fur. Her tails, as well as her ears, are tipped with a dark red, the color of a good red-wine. At the same time, her face bears markings above and below her eyes in the same color, giving her some accents. These markings are similar to markings often found on traditional Kitsune masks. Whether a part of her or some accessory, Madoka is rarely seen in her fox form without nine flaming magatama stones floating around her neck, slowly circling around. Despite being on fire, they do not seem to burn her or anything else they come in contact with.

Madoka's Realm

The Sky of Zenya Madoka's Pocket Dimension

Madoka's realm has no particular name unto itself, beyond 'home' for Madoka. To the Kitsune, it is a stash, as well as a residence and safe haven, but beyond that, and maybe even unrecognized by herself, is that her small pocket dimension in the astral planes serves as an easy-access hub for Madoka, allowing her to travel easily across planes, as long as she does not get lost or into a place with strange astral disturbances.

The hub is accessible via portals that Madoka creates, often leaving behind portal residue that makes them easy to locate again in the future, meaning she can move back and forth from familiar places incredibly easily, while newer places are much more difficult to get to. At the same time, trying to leave her realm to enter other ones can be incredibly disorienting, especially if there is no established portal to her destination, giving her the feeling of 'being lost' when she appears randomly in places.

Madoka's realm is very strange, and can be a bit surreal to people who travel there with her, or by accident (if that ever happens!), and is comprised of many tiny islands, most no larger than 20x20' or 20x30', and some even smaller than that, all connected by rope-bridges. Beneath the bridges and between the islands which are generally spaced between ten and thirty feet apart, is water, very dark and very calm, looking to be almost a sheer surface of obsidian. Most of these islands are covered with short, soft grass, and the majority of them are perfectly flat along their surfaces, tending to be far more diverse in their general border than anything else.

The primary standout features of Madoka's realm are the primary, central island, which is much larger than the other islands, and boasts a massive bonsai-like tree in the center, raised upon a tiny hill with six-ten foot cliffs on three sides and tiny path leading up to it. At the base of the tree is a large stump that juts out over the edge of the cliffs like a balcony. Thee tree itself appears to have a massive, onion-shaped pearl nestled in the top-most boughs that glows faintly.

Around the base of the tree, one might find a large stash of Madoka's pilfered goods which she stores there, as well as a single, wooden door leading into the cliff beneath the stump-balcony. If one enters this door, they will find Madoka's home. The other primary feature of uniqueness to Madoka's realm is its light source, hundreds and maybe thousands of japanese-lanterns float in the sky like stars, some within reach of the islands, and others so far in the distance as to be indistinguishable. They vary in size and brightness, but all burn with a flame that glows orange through the paper surrounding it. They do not seem to be held aloft by anything in particular.

If one were to enter the door into the cliff, they would enter a small abode, furnished primarily with feudal Japanese flair. However, the features that stick out the most are the obvious presence of something like electricity which allows Madoka to power a tv and a computer, as well as the multiple game-systems she appears to use. Along with that, it has other modern furnishings in various rooms.

Madoka's realm has a system, considerably making it a 'limited, but endless space', expanding its islands to represent various portals Madoka has used many, many times, but if one were to run to the edges of the realm, they would find themselves entering again on the other side, as they would if they attempted to leave by any means other than established 'edge portals', of which there are three, that tend to lead people back to where they have come from.
