Talk:Boardwalk

An entry I'd originally thought I might add for the B week of the contest, but that week turned out to be pretty busy and I couldn't get something I was happy with. I'm still not entirely happy with it, but I thought I'd at least see if the dramatic license I've been taking with the boardwalk is acceptable or if I should just back away from the whole thing. --Khada 17:03, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Most of this is very solid - Minor issues that I spotted would include that the village didn't exist on the material plane prior to 2002, so the boardwalk was built after that. (Originally by ah... Yomiko, Tatsu, Aure, and ... Another player whose name I can't recall anymore.) The modern boardwalk does originate from that point, but any prior structure would be linked to the Lily Civilization and would have long since disintegrated. It was, however, moved and relocated by the magicquake in late 2004. Additionally, there's never been any real movement of 'heavy goods'. And finally, no motorized vehicles on Yuriba. n.n But otherwise, very nice. --breisleach 23:12, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm working through writing up the changes to fit the actual history now, but other things kinda get in the way. I just guessed at who build the boardwalk based on who owned the room, but I'll fix that part too. The motorized vehicles thing came about because I'm sure I saw at least one motorcycle-y object moving around the village attached to a player, but I'm happy to take that out, too.--Khada 04:19, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

The {{ugly}} is only becuase it needs some minor formatting clean up. The bigger issue is the {{offtheme}} although that's not too bad either. Much of it is covered in the above discussion in my comments there. --breisleach 22:55, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
