Fall Food Festival

Details/Events

The Fall Food Festival, organized by Mirabelle O'Shea and sponsored by herself and the other ladies of Caislean Dubhcoille and the ladies of the Toshiba Market, was an island-wide cooking event open to all citizens, as participants or patrons. Held on the weekend of the 24th through the 26th of September, this event was an invitation to all cooks, chefs, restaurant owners, and other practitioners of the culinary arts to present their favorite dishes to the public for all to try, and invited everyone else out for a weekend of sampling the varied and wonderful cuisine that Yuriba's citizens and business owners have to offer.

A bonfire barbecue was also held on the night of Saturday, September 25th with a barbecue and covered dishes at the Garden in Caislean Dubhcoille's grounds as part of the festival. Sunday evening was time of the prize-giving ceremony at the Village Center, hosted by Mirabelle.

The event was a major success with a large turnout, and will hopefully be hosted again next year.
